Itinerary, accommodations & cost

       Itinerary:

Saturday:

  • Arrive in Anchorage, Alaska

  • City tour of Anchorage and 

  • University of Alaska, Anchorage

Sunday:

  • Rest from jet lag

  • Journal and letter writing

  • Visit Alaskan family

  • Learn about Alaska, Aurora Borealis, earthquakes, and volcanoes in Alaska

Monday:

  • Ride with musher & dog team

  • Cuddle puppies

  • Tour Musk Ox Farm, prehistoric animals

  • Interact & feed reindeer & elk

  • Horseback riding

Tuesday:

  • Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center – observe Brown Bear, Black Bear, Moose, Fox, Lynx, Wood Bison, Bald Eagles, Deer

  • Raft trip and train ride to Spencer Glacier

  • Spend night-gold rush town

Wednesday:

  • Aerial tram ride  –  Mt. Alyeska

  • Hike to Crow Creek Mine

  • Pan for Gold

  • Sample wild berry products

  • World's largest chocolate fall

Thursday:

  • Ice Trek on Matanuska Glacier

  • Zipline at Matanuska Glacier

  • Archery Range

Friday:

  • Jet Boat ride  to  Devil's Canyon

  • Visit Native village

  • Explore Talketna

  • Night hike – Hatcher Pass

  • Certificates awarded

Saturday:

  • Eklutna Indian Village

  • Museum

  • Depart for home

       Accommodations​: 

  • Each session: 8-days

  • 9 youth per session

  • Boys and Girls attend on separate sessions

  • 6 nights - cabin - Adams' property  in the country

  • 1 night  - Mt. Alyeska

  • All meals included & snacks: continental breakfast; lunch & dinner at restaurants

  • All transportation in Alaska is provided and costs included

  • Transportation to and from the airport in Anchorage, Alaska is included

  • All costs for the adventures are included

  • Washer and dryer available 

  Cost:   $5,400 USD plus airfare 

  • Fly into Anchorage: Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport - (ANC)

  • Arrive the Saturday it starts Depart the Saturday it ends
